The Department of Urdu, Alhamd University, Islamabad, hosted an online session with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab, Lahore, presiding over the event. Renowned researcher, critic, poet, and scholar from Canada, Dr. Taqi Abedi, delivered a keynote speech on the life and works of famous poet Firaq Gorakhpuri.
Distinguished scholar and educationist Dr. Ashraf Kamal graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Dr. Shair Ali moderated the online session. Dr. Taqi Abedi's lecture was widely appreciated for its insightful analysis.
